Yep…back then good workers were important, good service, good product to keep ahead of the competition. Now-a-days those business are controlled by larger corporations who think of the bottom line and how they can jack up production, no care into the product or the employee…just turn in good profit and jack up the numbers for 5 quarters and sell it off to the next Corp playing monopoly with the business/ manufacturing world.
In this economy one is better off working with a local mom and pop business and helping it to grow…at least you’re a person instead of a balance sheet there.
