I have a feline in our house who takes great pleasure in bringing me the little critters....alive.
I just recently read that peppermint essential oil will deter mice. I'll be trying it as soon as I can get the oil. It's worth a shot as it's safe for kids and pets. I'll leave you a post here if it works. In the meantime I'll be up on a chair ....
Thanks for the tip, Jennifer. I'll try it, too. We were going to put poison in the basement before we got the cat, but when we realized she'd be joining the family we didn't want her eating any poisoned mice.
I could tell right away she was going to be a hunter.
